The Tokyo Dome commissioned Daniel Flannery to create an attraction to be presented daily in the Geopolis space at the Tokyo Dome. The attraction created by Flannery featured a spectacular transformation by a futuristic structure that expanded by more than ten times it’s original size. A guest from the audience steps into a glass pyramid and falls into a deep trance, levitates and disappears. Enormous lighting trusses gracefully articulate above the heads of the audience to a magnificent musical score composed by Thomas Bahler and performed by a Hollywood symphony orchestra and choir. This attraction was presented twice daily. Originally intended to run for two years, Cosmic Symphony was extended and entertained audiences for 12 years.
