Great Bronze Doors

Great Bronze Doors

Design, fabrication and installation of structural components and systems for the operation of the Great Bronze Doors created by renowned sculpture artist Robert Graham. The pivots and motors are hidden within the thickness of the doors and the tympanum. The two larger doors along with the two inner doors are electronically driven and controlled to automatically open to predetermined positions. The driving mechanisms for the large doors are concealed in a moat under the floors. The 30’ x 30’, 25 ton Great Bronze Doors are built to last more than five hundred years.
